Artists render our climate crisis

Can artists inspire change in face of our climate crisis?

This exhibition aims to educate the public about the environmental hurdles we are facing through an artistic lens. We continue to exacerbate the warming of the planet, leading to more inclement weather, frequent flooding and droughts, and an increase in sea level rise that engulfs coastal communities all around the world. Art has the ability to evoke emotions in viewers in such a way that a simple bar graph or projection map cannot. It can even inspire others to act and make a change for themselves. The goal is to essentially continue the ongoing conversation about the consequences of our actions, and lay out some ways how we might try to remedy these consequences at an individual level.
